Mukti Yoga Training With Kori

Join me in taking the next steps in your yoga journey, become an instructor, advance your instruction or just deepen your practice.

If you are interested in discovering or delving more into the world of yoga, I would love to be a part of your journey and help you find or achieve your goals!

The completion of a 200–hour program results in a 200 hour yoga teacher certification, which is the basic certificate that is recognized by Yoga Alliance (US), the International Yoga Federation and most local alliances- RYT Certification. This is the best place to start if you are looking to deepen your practice and/or become certified to teach yoga practice.

If you completed your initial 200 hour RYT training (does not have to be Mukti) and want to have a deeper understanding of yoga for personal practice or teaching, the Mukti Graduate Module is for you! All of the offered training opportunities for RYT-200 graduates can contribute toward RYT-500 certification.

What is mukti yoga?

Mukti Yoga School

A 200/500 hour Yoga Alliance approved, Registered Yoga School.

Mukti Yoga Teacher Training school was established in 2004 by Julie Rader, since that time the school has certified hundreds of teachers who continue to be the top instructors in their area.

Mukti Yoga Team

Founder Julie Rader leads an experienced , caring team of senior Mukti teachers who enhance each yogis experience with dedication and wisdom. All Mukti staff is trained to not only practice physical yoga, but also to “live yoga” acting out service, compassion and concern for all.

All teachers start with a 200 hour Foundation training. You do not have to be a teacher to take the training. Many people take this training to deepen their yoga practice. Upon completion of the course, trainees are fully prepared to teach classes and to register with Yoga Alliance at the 200 hr level.

The meaning of “Mukti” Yoga

Mukti is a sanskrit word meaning "inner liberation." It is often heard in the phrase Jivamukti, which means "one who is liberated," and is also a term for a common style of yoga. Both Jivamukti Yoga and Mukti Yoga are forms of Hatha Yoga, but that is where the difference ends.

Mukti Yoga is a style developed and refined by Julie Rader. It carries notes of the Vinyasa Flow style of the West, but, in homage to Julie's rich training with Swami Janakananda and Swami Satyananda, goes well beyond the popular "power Vinyasa yoga" style. Over the years, my experience of yoga beginning with my very own Mukti YTT  and the life changing affects it has had on me lead me to become a Senior Mukti Teacher. I love to share this passion with all who I come in contact with. I believe in the importance of listening to our bodies, letting go of ego and believing we are stronger than we think.  Not only on the mat, but off the mat as well. All life is yoga!

Mukti Yoga is:

Alignment based flow following a specific formula to keep students safe. We want people to practice yoga for their entire lives, and this structure is the best way to make sure the body can tolerate this goal.

This class formula varies depending on the season, time of day, moon cycle, influences of the world around us, and the students in the room. No two classes are the same. We call this “intuitive” teaching, or teaching from the heart!

The goal of any Mukti Yoga class is to move from the inside out. Rather than allowing the postures to dictate the class, energy comes first, moving students to a more open understanding of how the mind-body connection is at work in their lives.

Yoga is LIFe!
